Klondike, CPOAL Headquarters – In a piece of sad news long term CPOAL Army Adventurers has shut its doors, however leader BrPlayer has created a new army alongside some other leaders formerly of Aliens.
Adventurers was created on the 9th September 2019 by BrPlayer and their first event was soon after where they maxed 4. This was just the start for the consistent Adventurers who slowly increased sizes to around a 10-11 average per event and even reached the Top 5 in the Top 10 on several occasions. A particular highlight for Adventurers was them defeating PDF in the Fjord Frenzy, maxing 9 in that particular battle. However due to the emergence of several larger armies and what BrPlayer felt was a weak name for recruiting, he decided to create Water Force to enhance his future prospects.

Adventurers take on PDF at the Fjord Frenzy.
BrPlayer is joined by three other leaders at the present moment, Tena, ShyPayden and Elsa, all formerly of Aliens’ hierarchy. After the recent annexation of their land, rumours have swirled of an argument regarding Aliens’ future. It is believed tensions had been brewing over recent decision making and that led to some leaders believing their options were better elsewhere. Enter Water Force.
Water Force was created by BrPlayer on the 7th of April. Water Force have allied with the Sky Troops and Tree Cult, two former members of the IUA which Adventurers was once a part of. Their opening event took place on the 11th of April with them maxing 12, a strong start considering Adventurers only maxed 4 on their opening event. After this event took place the army was immediately accepted as an official army and has joined the CPOAL Community officially.

Water Force max 12 at their opening event.
I caught up with BrPlayer to find out his thoughts about the actions he’d taken in closing Adventurers and opening Water Force.
CPOAL: The end of the Adventurers has come Br, how do you feel knowing your long journey as Adventurers has come to an end and do you have any regrets in your time as Adventurers leader?
BrPlayer: It was a great walk I had with the Adventurers, as it was really fun to be 4th or 5th in the league, but it’s better to continue, but I don’t regret the time I spent with the Adventurers.
CPOAL: The name Water Force, any particular inspiration for it?
BrPlayer: My inspiration was from old armies on Club Penguin, particularly my inspiration was Water Ninjas, the name “Force” didn’t have any inspiration.
CPOAL: With three of your fellow leaders coming from Aliens, do you feel like they are a sort of rival for you guys?
BrPlayer: No.
CPOAL: Adventurers made it to the Top 5 on the Top 10 in the past, in this evergrowing community where more and more armies are fighting for the top, what is your aspiration for the army?
BrPlayer: For now, our goal is to have a good position in the Top 10 and win a tournament for S/M armies.
CPOAL: Any final comments?
BrPlayer: No.
We can see here that BrPlayer has set his eyes on the prize of a S/M army trophy and to be a competitive army. I’m sure we’re all glad to see that BrPlayer has no regrets about his time in Adventurers and that they will be fondly remembered by many. The perhaps most interesting answer is his inspritation from the old army Water Ninjas, which I’m sure a few vets would love to see make a return. Water Ninjas were a very successful S/M army with appearances frequently on the major army Top Ten, so BrPlayer is surely hoping along with the other leaders to emulate their successes.
So what do you think? Can the army climb to higher peaks than the Adventurers could? Is it possible to emulate the successes of the former Water Ninjas? Will this army last the distance or will it only be a short term hurrah? Is Water Force a cooler name than Adventurers? Have your say on that final one in the poll below.
