Klondike, CPOAL Headquarters – Today we bring to the first edition of Meet The Board. If you don’t already know (you really should) the board members are the most important people in the league, they are the highest members of staff and have the most important roles such as registering new armies, updating the server map and making sure we have a good time by scheduling tournaments. We never really had a chance to have a chat with them so the reporter crew have decided to have this segment so we cant get to know the board members better. To start of our first segment we have Freezie.

Lets hear an introduction from the man himself: Hi – I am Freezie66. I joined CP armies in November 2010 when I was recruited off a Riffy888 Chat. I was in armies on and off from 2010-2015 leading the Dark Warriors. I made a full return to the community in December 2019 following 4 years of being retired and recreated the Doritos with Mustapha10 and 32op. A month later – I joined CPOAL as a board member and recreated the Dark Warriors, who I have been with ever since.
As you can see he is quite an old player in the CPOAL and had been involved in many great achievements, now for the main part, our CPOAL community had sent in some questions they wanted Freezie to answer, Freezie has tried his best to answer as many as possible.
Interview with Freezie:
DFGV: What do you love most about CPOAL?
Freezie: I love seeing how it constantly evolves to the communities demand. A few months ago a lot of people complained about unfair events regarding coins, no judges or regulation in battles & not enough support recognition for S/M armies. Now we’ve fixed all of those and are working on things such as a bigger server map & small army top 10. It’s also really neat to see the memes and inside jokes people create (such as Justice for Sinners – mop etc) The community can be very funny, but the best thing is that we’re all united behind a penguin game.
DFGV: What do you do in real life?
Freezie: I study Information Technology at University and currently manage health records at my City Hospital.
DFGV: How does it feel to be recognized as a legend from the old days?
Freezie: It’s good to be remembered for things I’ve been apart of in the past. It was really cool to get thousands of people to join this community in my early teens. Now, after a 5 year hiatus I get to manage it and help it be the best it can be – thanks to Epic recognizing me from past armies. I met many amazing people from Club Penguin (even though I stopped viewing it as an actual game once I joined armies) and the Dark Warriors in particular. Many long lasting memories, both good and bad but mostly good. Some of the people I met many years ago I still talk to. I even got some back to rejoin CPOAL,such as Andrew, Ghost, Flamez, Final Chaser, Spi. It just shows that you really can establish long term friendships with people in this community.
DFGV: Why is your name Freezie?
Freezie: I registered on Club Penguin when I was extremely young. At that age I had a massive addiction for Ice Lollies/Ice Pops/Freezies.
So yes, I hope you know some more about Freezie, there will be a poll being published where you can vote who you want to see next in Meet the Board, thank you all for listening, Freezie wanted me to post an “admirable” work of art so please take a look below:
