Dark Warriors vs. Golds Battle Battle Review

Klondike, CPO Army Headquarters- On April 14th, 2020, the Dark Warriors and the Golds Army squared off in an intense practice battle. Both sides were focused on winning and the battle turned out to be highly contested. Continue reading to find out who was determined the victor of the battle.

In the latest edition of the CPO Army League Top ten, the Dark Warriors placed 5th and the Golds army finished in 8th. The Dark Warriors came into this battle with a lot more battle experience than the Golds and had been averaging over 70 people on CP Online. The Golds on the other hand had been averaging around 50 people online. The Dark Warriors were easily the favorites going into this battle; however, not many people expected the Golds to put up as big of a fight as they did.

ROOM 1: MINE SHACK

Summary: The very first room of the battle was announced at :00 and both the Dark Warriors and the Golds stormed the Mine Shack. After the Dark Warriors appeared to be the larger of the two armies in the pre-battle warmups, the Golds entered the room quickly and had a size advantage in the initial room. The Golds formed a strong circle; while the Dark Warriors was struggling to form an X. While the Golds chanted that the Dark Warriors were merely a “Cute Army”, the Dark Warriors performed a stand in place J-bomb and then did an E8 yucky faces tactic.

Throughout the battle at the Mine Shack, the Golds shifted into a X formation and the Dark Warriors responded with a plus. At this time, both the tactics and overall formations of the armies had evened out. There was no true advantage for either side; however, the Golds had established an advantage at the beginning of the room which ultimately gave them the room victory.

Room Winner: Golds

Room 2: STADIUM

In the most highly contested room of the battle, both armies entered the stadium quickly and the Dark Warriors held the slight size advantage. The Dark Warriors performed an E-6 bomb entering the room while the Golds did an E-9 bomb. The Dark Warriors quickly opted to form a plus while the Golds created a circle. While the Dark Warriors chanted that the Golds entered the room early, the Golds j-bombed DW and then formed and X. At this time in the battle, both armies had strong tactics and very good formations.

As the battle intensified throughout the room, the Dark Warriors chose to sit on the Golds while they were in their X formation. As the Dark Warriors began to cover the Golds, the Golds leaders realized they had to retreat and they did so with a clovers bomb. The Golds then formed a plus, which the Dark Warriors covered again. The Golds became flustered by the Dark Warriors and the Dark Warriors finished them off with a strong bomb from both sides of the room. The battle at the Stadium went to the Dark Warriors.

Room 3: ICEBERG

In the final room of the battle, the Dark Warriors and Golds both averaged around 45 people online in the final room. The Dark Warriors entered the room with an igloo bomb, while the Golds responded with a moons bomb. As they did well throughout the battle, the Dark Warriors quickly formed a circle and the Golds were very unorganized. They appeared to finally opt to go into an upside down T which remained messy. This key error to begin the room was too critical for them to make up in the rest of the battle.

To conclude the battle, the Dark Warriors changed from their circle to a powerful X formation. The army chanted “Dark Warriors Forever” and victory was within sight. The Golds chanted “Say Hi To Youtube”, but this did not matter to the Dark Warriors. Youtube was no match for the army and the Dark Warriors finished the battle strong. The Golds slow start to the room cost them the battle and the Dark Warriors had won the practice battle with the victory at the Iceberg.

Coming into this battle, not many people expected the Golds to perform so well. The Dark Warriors have been alive longer and had much more time to prepare for this event than the Golds had. This battle was closely contested from the start and no army ever had a great size advantage. The Dark Warriors quick formations and superior tactics ultimately won them the battle in a great practice battle.
