Klondike, CPO Army League Headquarters – Roughly two weeks after the Golds were brought back into the army community by Bay and Pink, the legendary army has achieved 6th and 8th in the previous two top 10’s. In the past week, they maxed 51 at their return event and achieved over 70 at a stamp collection event. As expectations continue to rise, continue reading to find out more about the Golds return.
Since their creation in 2010, the Golds have been a historic army in the Club Penguin community. As they return for another generation, there is a lot of question of how successful they can truly be. Under a completely new leadership, these Golds do not resemble previous generations. As the army has gotten off to a promising start, the new leaders have a lot of expectations for the army.
However the main new attraction of the Golds is the inclusion to add youtuber “Bang” into their leadership who at the time of writing has 213k subscribers. Bang, while better known for posting agario and Fortnite videos, has recently found himself very accustomed to the Club Penguin online community but none more than the Golds army. With bang being relatively new to the army community, I decided to unravel his plans for the future of Golds.

Regan: How did you first hear about the army community?
Bang: After my first time hosting a livestream on CPO, my friend Madhav (Leader in training for IW) invited me out to an Ice Warriors battle. From there, I was introduced to several other armies.
Regan: Can you give us an insight into how you became the Golds leader?
Bang: After joining Golds and hosting a livestream with some of the members, I noticed how supportive and kind the community was in the Golds Discord. Because Golds only reopened 1 week ago, owners were looking to expand the amount of leaders to help the army grow. I mentioned my previous experience leading teams and managing e-sports organizations to the current Golds leaders, and they invited me to help them lead Golds.
Regan: Do you think there will be any differences good or bad, about leading the golds,as to leading the previous teams you have just mentioned?
Bang: I believe there will be a ton good differences that come from my part in being a Golds leader. CPO is very different compared to any games I’ve lead teams on in the past, but I am catching on to army related stuff very quickly. I have already applied many new improvements within the Golds Empire, and will continue to work hard to rise to the top!
Regan: What are your plans for the future of the Golds army?
Bang: I am currently working on perfecting our Discord server and website with the help of the other leaders. At this time, we are super busy but we continue to host events & games almost every single day. Our future plans are to continue expanding the amount of active recruits per day, master all tactics/formations in game, host fun and unique games/events for our community, and MUCH more.
Regan: And finally is there any other comments you’d like to make to our readers?
Bang: Thank you guys for being such an amazing and supportive community in the first week of me here on CPO. I haven’t felt this welcome in a community this fast, so I’m really excited to see what the future holds not just for golds, but for everyone in CPOAL!
