Klondike, CPO Army League Headquarters- Today we bring to you the fourth edition of Army in Focus. This month saw the revival of several legendary armies as well as the creation of a few first generation SM Armies. One in particular, we have chosen were the Miners of CPO, who have recently made the headlines with their unique tactic, the Jumble Dance Rumble.
The Miners Jumble Dance Rumble
A former Doritos member, JoelFreak decided to create The Miners of CP on the 2nd of April 2020. Working alongside the advice of his former Leader, 32op, the Miners became an official Army on the 7th of April 2020.
JoelFreak is unlike your ordinary leader, having joined Club Penguin a mere month before creating his own Army, he brings along with him ideas and goals that would make it seem as though he was a hardened vet.
Two days into becoming official, he hired QwertyFusion, the Leader of Tree Cults, to help him lead the Army. With JoelFreak and QwertyFusion at the helm, the Miners managed to successfully max 9 penguins at their debut event.
The Miners then went on to host a number of events while at the same time keeping their average max of 8 penguins. Running high on his previous successes, JoelFreak decided to try out his own his own innovative tactics, the most well known being his Jumble Dance Rumble as was displayed in the picture above.

The Miners being led by an ambitious leader, surely seem like an Army to watch out for. Lets hear what the Leader, JoelFreak himself has to say in our recent interview!
Interview with Miners leader, JoelFreak
CPOAL: Hello JoelFreak, your tenure here at the Army League is just shy of a month and you’re already leading your own Army so kudos to you for that, but what would you say inspired you to start your own army, the Miners?
JoelFreak: Doritos, I saw that armies existed through them and I wondered what to make and I always wanted to be a miner so I made Miners.
CPOAL: Alright, fair enough, so how do you think the army is progressing?
JoelFreak: Well atm really well I have had over 60 members in a week and got 5 people recruiting in Miners for us.
CPOAL: Alright, so naturally everyone’s heard about one of your staff members intention to declare war on IW, publicly in fact, would you care to shed some light on that?
JoelFreak: Well I won’t be naming any names I will save the person this time but really they just were really excited about the miners potential.
CPOAL: Fair enough, that actually brings me to my next question about your army’s potential, where do you see Miners a couple of months down the line from today?
JoelFreak: In a couple of months at the rate miners are going I think we can max 20 especially with all our suport from everyone.
CPOAL: When you say all our support from everyone, are you hinting at possible alliances with the major armies? If so, then could you throw some light on that?
JoelFreak: Well we are in a very close allience with aliens which atm are our biggest allies but in the future I can see miners with some of the biggest armies but not IW, that’s for sure.

Did Joel hint at a future war? We don’t know, but JoelFreak definitely seems extremely ambitious, and I’m sure we are all excited to see what potential JoelFreak can uncap from his new Army.
