Klondike, Army League HQ- The last two weeks witnessed a flurry of legendary armies returning, but also saw the exit of one of the greatest armies that the Club Penguin Community has ever seen.
UMA is known throughout the community as an army surrounded in mythos as it was originally created in 2006 by founder Pink Mafias and saw much success in old Club Penguin Armies; as CPAC in 2017 placed UMA as the sixth greatest army of all time.
A glorious army, UMA, under the leadership of some of its Legends like Bam, Wgfv, Pink Mafias, and Daniel scaled greater heights than most armies could even imagine. So what happened to this once legendary army?
Current leader, Justinfortsa, claims it to be inactivity problems, but we saw the revival of The Underground Mafias Army, under leadership of former Night Warriors leader and CP army veteran Vxenty, along with Midnight. The army had so far shown quite a bit of promise through its first week of operation, with their return event achieving a max size of 50, and max of 68 penguins in their next event.
For reasons unknown, the army was shut down again almost a week after its revival.
However, UMA has returned under the leadership of Zeke, Games, Dillon, and Justinfortsa on the 18th of April 2020.
Let’s hear what the current leader, Justinfortsa, has to say about the Army!

CPOAL: UMA has a great history, definitely one of the most legendary armies in CPOAL, so everyone was excited about its return. But my question is, what inspired you to bring back UMA now?
Justinfortsa: In my opinion, UMA is the best army of all because it has the greatest history the greatest coat of arms and the best soldiers so that’s why UMA deserves the glory back and that’s why we will rise and be the best army again
CPOAL: Alright, then why is it that UMA went dysfunctional almost a week after its revival?
Justinfortsa: We didn’t have some requirements that we wanted to have
CPOAL: And what were those requirements?
Justinfortsa: Personal
CPOAL: Fair enough, so will UMA be revived fully again anytime soon? If yes, then when would that be?
Justinfortsa: It will be, but we need some time first, we will be back again. Hail Uma!
CPOAL: What would you say would be your goals in the upcoming days then?
Justinfortsa: Because we don’t have many soldiers we haven’t set out goals yet it’s too early but soon we will set some goals and we will achieve more goals than anytime!
CPOAL: Well, I wish you and your army success! Is there anything else you’d like to say to the community?
Justinfortsa: I would like to say that UMA is one of the best CP Armies of all time and we will be back very soon and stronger!
A man shrouded in mystery, Justinfortsa, definitely has big plans for the Underground Mafias Army, but he’s definitely not one to share his big plans. Reasons for their shutdown being yet unknown, we can only hope that UMA returns to its former glory. With a lot of history behind the army, there is a pressure exerted onto the leaders to make sure that the army lives up to its name.
