Dark Bandits Resurrected with Merge from War Penguin Force

KLONDIKE, CP Army Media Headquarters ─ With their last generation dating back to 2015, the Dark Bandits have been resurrected by Carlos for a fresh start in the private server community.

The Dark Bandits were originally created by ‘Redduck’ in 2012, but with no real success they closed shortly afterwards. In 2014, however, Carlos and his friend Ares reopened the army and took them to new heights. They peaked at 5th on the CP Army Central Top Ten Armies listing and won the SM Army Press 2015 Winter League Tournament. Known also for their involvement in conflict, they fought in wars against the Nachos and alongside the ‘New Dawn Alliance’ against the Ice Warriors.

September 4th, 2015: The Dark Bandits invade the Nachos server White House.

Now back in the community for another run, CP Army Media spoke exclusively to Carlos, one of the two current leaders, who said the following regarding the army’s sudden return:

For old times sake. Zarpa found genuine interest in bringing it back, something I thought would never happen since most of the legends left armies. Since I always had the dream of bringing Dark Bandits back, for the first time in 5 years I can say that I’m living my dream.

Carlos further announced he has a “very long term journey” planned with the army, and that he’s confident in the people he’s choosing to make up his staff and higher command. They have no opening date set at current time, but plan to make impact within the next few weeks.

Despite this, they have already benefited from the successful merge of the War Penguin Force. Leader CPMaster made a public statement on the Dark Bandit Discord server, explaining why he chose to merge his army:

Hello, I am CP from the WPF. I may of left the CP community but i am merging here. We shall be known in your army by merging from now on, I am merging because we do not have good enough members and events.

With their return occurring in the next few weeks, and a dedicated set of leaders and higher command present, the Dark Bandits seem to be an army to watch within the community. Will this generation be as successful as their past? Or will they fade into the blackness of the night?
