The Elites Returns

SUMMIT , Elites Nation– An older Club Penguin army, who has been long forgotten by some, has returned to the army community. They plan to reestablish themselves as a major army and restore their glory. We have seen many armies return to the community in recent times, Let us take a closer look into Elite’s new generation.

The Elites were created by 77 Ninja 77 back in May 23, 2008. The Elites were rivaled upon ACP under the leadership of Ninja at one point. Eventually, Ninja retired and a stream of leaders followed. In the end, the 1st generation of Elites finally gave in and shut the army down. After a course of a couple months, Lordcody56 revived the Elites hoping to be successful in the 2nd generation. Unfortunately, it was not very successful. The Elites were once again revived in the 3rd generation by Godplaya123 and Supperz1 .The Elites dominated Club Penguin armies as it went up the Top 10, reaching Major sizes in just four to five months. However, as every army experiences this, the 3rd generation fell again not too long after reopening. Over the summer of 2010, the 3rd generation Elites had been acknowledged as a disappearing army. Due to troubles with leadership, the inevitable downfall of this once great army came swiftly.

The 4th generation of Elites was lead by Flames181, this generation was promising at the start but history repeated itself and Elites shut down again. The 5th generation, created by Trickster and Npeppersn, followed shortly after. It was again very unsuccessful, as it died in the first week of creation.

About a year or two passed by without the Elites, until two penguins named 57to and Khimo came along, reviving the Elites once again and creating the 6th generation. This was probably one of the more successful generations, lasting approximately half a year and reaching up to 2nd place on the CPAC Top 10 List. However, all good things as we know then must end. About a week later, the 7th generation was created by Step Up 646 and Momo941. This generation lasted for quite a while as well, until they eventually lost hope once again.

The Elites, who recently announced their return, held an event on Ice Cave. The Elites maxed a total of 25+ troops in the Opening Event. Simmonds2000, Elites Leader, gave his feedback on the opening event which can be viewed below:

Announcement made by Simmonds2000 on 5th May 2020

The current leadership of Elites consists of several experienced troops who’ve had history in armies such as Dark champions, Pizza Republic, Ranger Troops, Green Mercenaries, Snow blizzard army, and SWAT. These leaders include Simmonds2000 who was also known as Arceus1296, King Mythic, former Templars commander, and Luicfer, former Skaters leader and High Commander in many successful armies . Below is a picture of the Elites latest event:

Now that the CPO Army Community is getting ready to welcome another legendary army, I had a opportunity to interview Elites Leader, LuicferStar, to know more about what they aim for the 8th Generation. You can read the interview below:

An Interview with Elite's Leader, LuciferStar
CPOAL: How Does it feel to be leading the legendary army Elites?

Luciferstar: Honestly, it’s a great feeling. Being a part of any army for that matter has always been fun, but when you’re a part of such a historic army, its a completely different story. And what makes things even better is that I’ve got a great team with me, and I don’t think I’d have been able to do any of this on my own. So props to Simmonds, Mythic and Conor for everything!

CPOAL: Why did you, Mythic and Simmonds2000 decided to revive the Elites for yet another generation?

Luciferstar: Honestly, it was a sudden decision if I’m being completely honest. We saw that several armies had made a return to Club Penguin, so I believe all this started a week back. Right about a week back, Simmonds and I decided to revive a historic army. When we got Mythic into the loop, we decided that, that army would be the Elites. So yeah, we got together five days back, got the website and discord running two days back and we maxed 25+ at our first event yesterday!

CPOAL: Wow you guys seem like good team!

Luciferstar: It’s not just us Leaders. We’ve got a fantastic recruiting team who grind it out everyday. You know who you are and I appreciate every single one of you because honestly, everyone in the army have been putting in tremendous efforts in the last two days. So yeah, you could call it the Dream Team haha

CPOAL: That’s awesome! Do you think Elites can become one of the Strongest S/M armies and earn the Army of the Week?

Luciferstar: No doubt about it at all. We don’t aim to be a S/M Army for too long. We’ve only been active for 2 days and we’ve already maxed 25 at our first event. Our goal isn’t to be one of the strongest S/M Armies out there. We aim to be Major soon!

CPOAL: That’s a very good goal to aim for as a goaless army is a failed army in my opinion!

Luciferstar: Definitely, but with the team we have here at Elites, I definitely think its possible to achieve our goals.

CPOAL: What do you think is the maximum potential for the Elites?

Luciferstar: Last I heard was the sky is the limit.

CPOAL: LOL, Thank you for the time, anything you would like to add?

Luciferstar: I think that will be all, thank you!

The Elites are expecting to see good work from their troops, they also hope to recruit for long periods which can help to their sizes. Also, we can see the leaders are very hyped to see the results of the work they are doing with Elite Troops and with increasing sizes in events will give them the title of Army of the week Time will tell if Elites will succeed or fail. They believe their troops can build Elites into the dominant army it once was.

What do YOU think? How successful will this generation be? Can Elites rise, or will they fall? Will Elites be a Major Army? Will Elites earn the Title “Army Of the Week”? Comment Down YOUR opinion!
