SLUSHY, Army League Headquarters- By now, everyone in the CPOAL community is aware of all the upcoming new s/m armies coming into play. There are several new variations of army themes, and this recently includes The Vikings. With new s/m armies including Golden Troops, Elites and Tree Cult and more, The Vikings are going to have some fierce competition along the way.
On the 25th of April, Vikings held their debut event at the Dojo playing a few rounds of cardjitsu, maxing 5 for this event. They have done four other events following this one, maxing 5-11.
Vikings Cardjitsu Game Event
This new army began on the 17th of April of this year, and became official on May 7th. The Vikings are developed around the lore of the Norse Mythology, with a history channel detailing this information. With the guide from the gods and goddesses from Norse Mythology, leader Moozie believes that will lead them to great things for the future. Since opening, The Vikings have had five events, including different types of fun activities, such as games, etc. They maxed different numbers each time, but averaged 10. According to their discord server, this army has already made plans and has joined the International United Armies alliance, an alliance on CPOAL consisting of other s/m armies.

I caught up with the leader of The Vikings, Moozie, to talk to him about his newest accomplishment.
Interview with Vikings leader Moozie.
Leila- Well first off, I’d like to welcome your army officially into the Army League Community. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself, and your experience in armies?
Moozie- Okay well, club penguin was a large part of my life when I was younger, as it probably was for most of us. I discovered Club Penguin Online just over a year ago and I’ve loved the nostalgia ever since. I have a lot to learn about armies, I’m not the most experienced. I was previously in Aliens for a little while, and then decided to create my own army, quite a daunting thought but oh well. I know armies function and what’s required, so I believe the Vikings will progress pretty far, hopefully!
Leila- What made you want to create The Vikings?
Moozie- I’ve always had a mentality that I have the potential to be a leader. Not a boss who tells everyone what to do and when to do it. But someone who you can look up to and enjoy working alongside. So, I just went out on a limb one day and opened up a discord server and started recruiting people, and somehow it kind of worked…
Leila- That’s a great mentality to have as a leader. Did you have any assistance getting The Vikings started?
Moozie- No, I was a one man army for a long time, until I got a few loyal members who have stayed with me from the beginning.
Leila- What are some of your goals for your army?
Moozie- Well my original goal for the army was to create a community where people of all demographics could converse and have a great time. I wasn’t originally planning on delving into the whole server invasions aspect for a long time, but due to our fast growth, I think that idea is back on the table. For the time being, my only goal is to make my Vikings happy, host fun events, and try to grow our army as much as possible!
Leila- Are you planning to start battle events and invasions sometime in the future?
Moozie- Yes, I would like to claim at least one server from the new server map in the near future. However, a lot of my members are very new to the concept of armies, so I would have to hold several battle practice events to get them up to scratch for invasions.
Leila- Thank you for your words. Is there anything else you’d like to say to our readers?
Moozie- No worries, thank you! I’d just like to say that if there is anyone out there that has the desire to start their own army, just go for it! There’s no harm in creating an army and slowly building it up over time, just give it a shot.
According to the members of The Vikings, and Moozie, they feel they have a lot of potential to be a successful army. They feel that this army is a family and is very supportive of each other. It seems this army has a lot of hidden strength and dedication, so put on your viking helmet, get your axes and pledge your allegiance to The Vikings today.
