CPOAL: The World War That Lasted One Day

Outback, SWAT Nation  –  On 12 May 2020, Badboy, a current leader of SWAT, declared war on the Ice Warriors for a multitude of reasons, the main one being the accusation of Andrew24 using his position as Head of Board to increase the Ice Warriors rankings.

It started on May 12th, with Badboy giving two offers: Hibernate and Husky for Mammoth from the Ice Warriors, or Hibernate and Husky for outback from the Dark Warriors. The Ice Warriors denied the offer.

As soon as the war was declared, both SWAT and Ice Warriors called to their allies to either help, defend or attack the opposing alliance. SWAT, which revived the New Dawn Alliance or NDA, consisted of the following armies: SWAT, Athletes, Royal Family, Doritos, Redemption Force, and Squires. These 6 armies vowed to attack the Ice Warriors and their allies the next day at 4PM EST. The Ice Warriors alliance consisted of Ice Warriors, Pirates, Animal Kingdom, the Golds Empire, and Golden Troops. At this point, it seemed pretty much hopeless for the Ice Warriors, as the NDA had more armies overall. However, the Squires took an inside poll and left the war for a bit. The Athletes and Royal Family also temporarily left the alliance later, and the status of Doritos was unknown. The Redemption Force was invaded by Golds and AK(with the IW alliance helping in both) and soon enough, they also left the NDA. Things were really not looking good for SWAT.

Later, Royals, Athletes, and Doritos came back to the alliance ready to attack the Ice Warriors, with a couple of new armies joining: Light Troops and Tree Cult. The Squires were also attacked that same day by SWAT, while the Ice Warriors, eager to help their new allies defend Fjord, helped the Squires defeat SWAT. SWAT, obviously, decided to put their plan into motion, by having their entire alliance attack the Ice Warriors’ lands all at once. This plan failed, as the Ice Warriors and their allies successfully defended 5/6 servers, with the Doritos being the exception and successfully invading a Golds server defended by the Pirates.

Later that day, CPO announced they would be shutting down on May 31st. Everyone thought that the war would continue at least for a little bit more, but that turned out to be false, as yesterday morning, as most of you know, CPO shut down all servers. This turned out to be the end of the war. Even with the move to Club Penguin Armies: The Game, Badboy decided to tell Andrew that the war was pointless and ended it.

This was the end of Club Penguin Online Army League(as Club Penguin Online shut down), but was also the beginning of a new era of peace and perhaps prosperity. Prosperity is yet to see, as we are not able to recruit within CPA: The Game yet. Thanks for all the good memories, ending with perhaps not the best way to go out on.
