Light Troops Forever in our Memories

ICEBOX, Light Troops’ Historic Capital- After a series of unfortunate events, the Light Troops most recent event would be their last one ever. Yesterday morning Light Troops commander, Ben, announced the end of LT forever with the publication of Epic101’s announcement post.

Created by Ioioluk in 2010, this army has been a force to reckon with. Winning battles against their biggest foes such as Army of Club Penguin in early generations and going up the ranks in CPAC and finding itself the number seven major army of all time. Throughout the years since its creation, we see LT take major falls and rapid uprisings. At one point merging with two other armies to stay afloat and the next point taking down major armies like Rebel Penguin Federation. Moving on in more recent generations like that of Spring 2019 under the leadership of Tobercold and Epic, winning entire wars against armies like Help Force and Templars was a generic feat for them. There is no doubt Light Troops led an awe-inspiring reign.

LT conquering HF. April 24th, 2019

The last generation of Light Troops began March 29th, 2020 and lasted until May 17th. In possibly the last ever empire reign led by Epic101 and Twaseen for a while and then Twas, Ben and Vxenty, was rather quiet. Hosting battle practices that maxed ranging from 50 to 85+. Towards the end of their ruling LT had tensions with the Golds Empire ending up in a war that didn’t go well for Light Troops. They kept their head up for a while longer until CP closed down. And unfortunately, that was their final straw. Their shut down was a decision made between all the current leaders, although speaking with an LT Godfather and legend Roberto, we see that are a few regrets.

However, the army would not be moving on to the new CPPS as other armies had decided to. There was no reason for them to die slowly on CP Armies The Game and taint their legacy as Epic states it. Rather, Epic thanked all of LT for making the army a breathtaking one and closed their doors forever by posting, “…the Light Troops will never return on any other Private Servers or Games. The Light Troops are now hereby Shut Down & Dead.”

The Light Troops have led a legacy unseen by most armies out there. From Staying alive through multiple generations and a series of unfortunate events, Light Troops will forever be in our memories.
