An Out of the World Decision

WHITEOUT, Former Aliens Capital – The Aliens were one of the greatest armies Club Penguin Online has ever seen. They ranked high many times, enticing many who desired to find out where these otherworldly creatures are from. Turns out, they were not at Area 51. They were in our hearts all along, however they recently left the community and left an alien shaped hole there.

New era of Aliens event

The Aliens started in late November/early December 2018, with a max of 6. They slowly grew, inching their max up, as well as increasing their position on the Top Ten leaderboard. They got to 8th place within 2-3 weeks. In fact, they got to 6th the next week with 3 events, after gaining some confidence. This change shocked everyone. Even though they dropped a few times, they were still having 3 events a week and having a consistent position on the Top Ten leaderboard.

One of the earliest Alien events.

They had a drop then, but rose back up just as soon, entering the maxes of around 20 in August 2019. They gained more members, recruiting very hard, and they also started getting land and making alliances, with armies such as the Royals. They consistently kept their place on the Top 5, showing the other major armies that even if they were not a native Club Penguin army, they were still a force to be reckoned with.

They kept their positions, sometimes even rising to 3rd, with about a 10 point difference from the army below them. However, as the Aliens and the rest of the army came into 2020, they started to get in trouble. They didn’t lower in their maxes much, but armies such as Ice Warriors and Doritos came in with a lot of followers. The Aliens were unflinching, however, keeping their maxes of around 25, and their position of 4th on the Top Ten.

Enough about maxes or Top Tens. Overall, the Aliens was a nice army, sometimes overlooked, but they were still confident enough to continue, no matter what happened. Even after the Aliens and IUA were almost shut down by Ice Warriors/Golds/Dark Warriors, they still continued for a short while as a Top Ten army, until Skaters took their place after Sinners merged with them. Still, Aliens did not give up as an army, even though their max was much smaller without IUA or many of their other allies. They had about a 10-15 max still, which was still good.

At this point, Badboy started the war (read more on The World War that Lasted One Day), which Aliens decided to remain neutral in. They were pretty quiet around this time, most likely due to Rj/Bp (one leader of Aliens) having tests and being forced by his parents to study for them. CPO had also shut down and the Aliens of CPR existed, so the Aliens of CPO had nothing more to do. Rj decided to turn it, with the acceptance of his staff, into a fun server, where any game could be played. Even though they shut down, their community still stands strong and proud, with a new goal: To have fun! We are sad to see them leave, but they had a very good run. We hope that they still stay nice and strong. We will miss them.

CPAL: What was behind the shutdown of Aliens?

RJ/BP(former Aliens leader):  The main reason was that all the leaders and almost all mods were tired from armies and it’s drama. On top of it , my parents were forcing me to leave armies and cpps because I have important exams soon. So, they want my focus to be on studies not on any cops.

CPAL: How do you think the server will move ahead?

Rj: All the leaders and staff team planned aliens to be a fun server called “Space Galaxy”. We would be doing lots of fun events like mafia, uno &pokemon tournaments, art contests, Simon says, spam challenges, one word stories, music party, riddles, quizzes and much more. Aliens would continue to grow as a fun server.

CPAL: How do you think the community will be impacted by this decision? Aliens were major for some time, so shutting it down was a really out of this world decision, right?

Rj: Yea, almost everyone in aliens are happy with our decision and some people can’t wait for tons of events and fun. We are still a family and we are still together.

CPAL: Those seemed really hearfelt. I personally am sad for this decision, as Alien events were always fun(with Joel and Krill butting in), but do you have any other comments to the community?
Rj: Aww thanks and it’s sad for us too but the decision is best for us. Aliens might have closed as an army but as a family we are still alive. We just changed aliens server to space galaxy. Aliens were the friendliest army. Thanks to everyone for giving us supports. #Aliens4ever
Thanks for all the wonderful memories, Aliens! The Aliens brought the community some funny moments, and a new army that everyone loved. Some of the best moments involved IUA, some didn’t. However, the Aliens were fun overall and were a force to be reckoned with.

Do YOU think the other Aliens in CPAM will excel just as much as these Aliens? Do YOU think our Aliens will ever come back? Do YOU think both of these otherworldly armies will fight? Leave your opinion below! We need to know YOUR opinion!

  2. Aliens of cpr won’t be rising as much as aliens of cpo did. They can’t make a family and a friendly environmemt which we did. They can’t make because leaders might be friendly but they aren’t friendly all time. On the other hand aliens of cpo leaders were very friendly. Army leader behavior decides whether the community would be friendly or rude.

  3. Well according to me aliens of cpr couldn’t rise much as aliens of cpo did. If they even rise then they can’t make the friendly and family environment which we made. A leader behavior decides whether the community would be friendly or rude (on average).
