New Supreme Commanders of DW: Squirrel & Julia

FROSTY, Dark Warriors Capital – The Dark Warriors’ leadership has seen recent changes, with one leader stepping down and two new additions stepping up to the role of Supreme Commander.

The Dark Warriors were founded in March 2007 by Ambrosha. Since then, many troops have come and gone. One of these particular troop members was Myra, who went on to become Supreme Commander. She originally was a part of the Doritos of Club Penguin, but in December of 2019, fate led her to join the DW army. Greatness would fall upon her in 2020 as she was promoted to Supreme Commander in March. Unfortunately, the real world had other plans for her, and she had to retire soon after, in April. She came back at the right time when her army needed her most, in May, during the switch from CPO to CPA:TG. The real world has called to her once more, and she must retire due to personal issues. As a result, two newer army members have been promoted to fill in that large gap.

Julia has been active in CPA since 2013. She first joined the Rebel Penguin Federation, and then switched between them and DCP until 2014. She went on to lead the Snow Ninjas for two years from 2015 to 2017, but took a break from 2018 to March of 2020 at which point she decided to join DW as a Dark Private.

Squirrel also has plenty of previous experience. She started out with the Pirates army in 2018 and was active until it shut down. From there, she decided to transtion to the Dragons and  then Templars, before deciding she wanted to join the Dark Warriors during the Christmas tournament. She stayed there until it closed, and then went back to Pirates. She stayed with them until the Dark Warriors reopened in March of 2020, and has committed to DW ever since.

We managed to exclusively obtain interviews with both Julia and Squirrel on their promotions to Supreme Commander. The following interviews have been combined. Julia’s answers will go first, and Squirrel’s second.

How does it feel to be Supreme Commander?

Julia: It feels exhilarating to be honest! I’m so glad that I can put my all into DW and continue making it an amazing army!

Squirrel: It was definitely a surprise. I feel really proud to be supreme commander, because I feel like I’ve done a lot of work to get here. It also makes me really excited to lead Dark Warriors.

How is it like working as Supreme Commander of DW? Does it feel different from all the other armies you’ve been a part of?

Julia: It feels so much more different than any army I’ve ever been in. There is no other army I would rather lead than DW. It is such an open and welcoming community, each and every member is super kind and puts their heart and soul into everything. I can’t wait to lead them all and make them proud.

Squirrel: DW has been a different, but better experience than other armies. I found that the community is so much more engaged and connected than other armies. We call ourselves a family, and it’s honestly true. I’m glad to be a leader in such a tight army.

How do you think the Dark Warriors will look in the future?

Julia: I’m hoping that it’ll keep its positive vibes whilst continuing to grow stronger!

Squirrel: I think DW will continue to thrive. We’re getting new, dedicated members all the time, so I know they’ll be the new generation of DW family.
