Tensions Grow Between Water Vikings and SWAT After Public Condemnation

ALASKA, CP Army Hub Headquarters – Tensions have risen between the Special Weapons and Tactics and Water Vikings, following a public condemnation of their recruiting exploits.

The Water Vikings shook the community yesterday after they released a public statement directed to the Special Weapons and Tactics, regarding leader Ganger90’s recruiting methods. In particular, the direct messaging of their troops to join the SWAT.  The post, entitled “A Condemnation of SWAT” stated a number of allies have also experienced the same thing, including: the Ice Warriors, Doritos, Water Troops, Dark Warriors, and the Army of Club Penguin.

Leader Pjayo admitted he was ready to jump into a war with SWAT over the matter, and will do so if the recruiting and troop stealing attempts continue to occur. The following screenshots were provided by Pjayo in his post.

The SWAT were quick to respond, and leader StarrySophie made a response post on their website. She states SWAT does not condone troop stealing, and that leader Ganger did not realise the people he was messaging were in another army.

I would just like to say that after communicating with my fellow leader Ganger90, we as the SWAT commanders want to extend our sincere apologies to all armies involved. It was never Ganger’s intention to troop steal or try to recruit people who already have loving homes in other armies. At SWAT, we understand how each member is like family, and we loathe to think of purposely taking members of other armies.

CP Army Hub sat down with Water Vikings leader Pjayo to interview him about the ongoing tensions.

How do you feel about the situation between SWAT and WV right now?

I wish it could be better but there’s no going around Gangers actions. I can’t sit by idly and watch as he steals not only from WV but from just about every major power. He can make all the excuses he wants but he has a history of this sort of thing.

What can you advise to other armies facing users that troop steal?

Confront the army. I was quick enough to pass it around my own circle which happened to catch upwards of 10 people being recruited by one army. If I hadn’t confronted SWAT or asked around it’s likely Ganger could have continued on for an indefinite amount of time.

Why do you think Ganger would do such a thing?

Old habits die hard, I guess. Even buddy struggled with multilogging. Not to mention ganger is one of the most ambitious people in army history. SWAT is like his son, he doesn’t want that to fail, and I can’t fault him for that. But I still can’t allow troop stealing to continue, under any circumstances

While it would appear Ganger90’s “troop stealing” was done by accident, could this increased tension between the Water Vikings and SWAT lead to more? Could we be looking at the first conflict under the new Army Hub league?
