UNKNOWN, Shadow Troops Empire – After being closed for two months, the Shadow Troops have announced their return to the army community.

Shadow Troops was created all the way in 2008 by Commando993. Although this army was founded long ago, it managed to get in CP Army Central’s Top 30 Armies of All Time. Despite having a history for the number of generations it has, Shadow Troops is back and ready to come into the light.

After being closed for around two months, the Shadow Troops have reopened their doors. With a new leadership unit, this iteration of the Shadow Troops is looking to make a splash in the small/medium army scene. With permission from Cargo to revive the army, they held their first event, a verification event, on July 16th.

CP Army Hub was able to catch up with Shadow Troops leader Myth for a quick interview.

Thank you for taking time out of your day for this interview. What inspired you to reopen the Shadow Troops?

Well, we really didn’t have in mind to reopen such an amazing army at first. After my “forced retirement” from the One Direction Army, I was creating a new army with some friends, those friends being the other two leaders. We had the idea for the Elemental Battalion, which, uniform and roles, looked very close to the legendary Shadow Troops. Then while talking to Coolguy, current SWAT leader, he brought up that maybe we should rebrand, and with his and Storm (CC 1ic) we rebrand to Shadow Troops with Cargo’s permission.

Nice! Are you intimidated at all by carrying on the Shadow Troops name?

I am most definitely, as I don’t want to tarnish their name or rub it in dirt, but I am trying to not let this get to me haha

Do you have any significant goals with the Shadow Troops?

I plan on returning them to the sizes of Ice Warriors, and even greater. I have already set up plans for mass recruiting, and returning The Shadow Troops to a Top Ten army

Is there anything else you’d like to add before ending the interview?

I just wanna thank all the people who help contributed to making the server, and bringing back Shadow Troops, especially Cargo. Thanks everyone, have a good one!

This iteration of the Shadow Troops is very confident in their ability to be the next big army. With an experienced leadership unit, name recognition, and history on their side, they have reason to be optimistic.
