Beach Brawl: Round One, Day One Predictions

ALASKA, CP Army Hub Headquarters — The first day of the Beach Brawl tournament is upon us, and we’ve rounded up the staff predictions for your pleasure!

July 18th marks the start of the highly anticipated Beach Brawl, with a whopping 16 small-medium armies set to take part in the first round (click here for the times). Day One, however, will see just eight armies go head-to-head in four intense battles. Who will emerge the victors? And who are the CP Army Hub editors placing bets on?

Coup Crusaders vs. Sorcerers

Ice Warrior colony Coup Crusaders are set to take on the Sorcerers in the tournaments very first matching. While the Crusaders came in at 11th on the Major Top Ten listing, the Sorcerers placed significantly lower at 14th on the small-medium listings. Could this prove to be any easy Coup Crusaders victory, or will the Sorcerers be able to achieve an upset?

Army of the Orient Seas vs. Red Ravagers

The largely ‘AUSIA’ Army of the Orient Seas will take on the Red Ravagers in round one. The AOS achieved 9th in the latest major army listings thanks to their strong AUSIA division, but how will they fair at a UK/US timezone? On the other hand, the Red Ravagers have consistently been maxing sizes of 10 at their latest events, which has led many to believe this could be a close battle.

Black Order vs. One Direction Army

While the Black Order have been hit with a multitude of leadership issues as of late, they still hope to pull off a great performance in the Beach Brawl tournament. They placed third in the small-medium Top Ten this past Sunday, with consistent sizes of of 12-17. The One Direction Army ranked slightly lower, at 10th, but have also experienced similar peak sizes. There is no doubt that this will be a close battle, and even has the editors opinion split.

Golden Troops vs. Lime Green Army

The Golden Troops have had a great few weeks, with their sizes gradually increasing. Most recently, they achieved 4th of the small-medium listings, just three positions below competitor the Lime Green Army. But with the Limes peaking at 13 and the Troops at 19, which of these armies will triumph at the battle?
