Frosty, Dark Warriors Capital – Sudden news announced the departure of one of the well-known figures in the Dark Warriors from their leadership team: Megann.
Megann first joined the Dark Warriors in December of 2019 when she saw Epic101 recruiting by stating that you can get free CPO coins. Megann made note this is why she had joined in the first place, for the coins. She had remained in DW until the shutdown in February and while DW had merged with the Pirates, Megann had decided to take a break from armies. A few of her friends had revived the Ice Warriors later on and she had decided to assist them. While in IW, she ranked up second in command where she helped with AUSIA events. Later on, in March of this year, Myra, a current DW leader, had DMed Megann that DW was going to reopen. From then, she immediately left her position at IW to join DW as 2ic. She worked her way up to a leader in training role, where she opened up DW’s AUSIA division on the 3rd of April. Only a few weeks later she earned her spot as leader, and eventually got Dark Warrior’s Legend role on June 14th for all of the hard work she has done for DW. A little over a month later, Megann departed from DW in a final event, a Puffle Takeover, where they dedicated many tactics to Megann along with inside jokes they had with her.

Megann’s Retirement Event on July 19th.
On July 19th, 2020, Megann had formerly announced her retirement in a heartfelt speech on the Dark Warriors Discord server. In the beginning, she wrote about her time in DW, maxing significant numbers going into the 135+. Megann made note of how much DW had impacted her, from making friends to having fun, she knows she won’t ever fully leave but due to certain reasons, she needed to step down. Megann then went in and wrote special notes for multiple individuals that impacted her time in DW.

Megann’s Retirement Speech
After special notes of recognition to multiple individuals, such as Myra, Noa, Julia, and more, Megann went into a few reasons why she had decided to depart from DW leadership. Since she was an AUSIA leader, it was difficult for her with the rather significant time difference, causing her to sleep only a few hours a day. She stated that most events were at 3 am for her and while she wanted to work hard to make DW the best, she had a busy schedule and the time for the events had impacted her greatly. While she said she couldn’t help putting so much work into her leadership, she rather enjoyed it and is happy with what DW turned into.

Part 2 of Megann’s Retirement Speech.
The CP Army Hub was able to catch up with the former Dark Warrior’s Leader, Megann, to learn more about her retirement!
What were the reasons for your retirement? Was it a difficult decision?
Haha well, I think I just overworked myself. I wasn’t really taking good care of myself physically, mentally or emotionally because of being a leader. I’ve gotten pretty sick these past few months because I wasn’t eating right and because I was only sleeping 3 hours a day. The last thing I want to do is end up in the hospital, so I thought I’d rather put my health first before anything. The hardest part was waking up at 3am for battles and events, I really messed up my body clock lol. Yeah it was a difficult decision, but ultimately I think that it was the right choice.
What was your favorite moment in DW?
I think my favorite moment in DW would have to be my story times. I’d go on VC and talk about the randomest things and just overall talk about my life and it seemed to bring people together. I liked the fact that people could get to know me, and I could get to know them back. It made leading DW much more personal because of the level of connection that everyone shared.
What are your plans for the future? Do you plan on staying active or even returning to leadership someday?
I plan on going back to the States and enrolling again at my old nursing school. I’m not sure when I can actually leave, because the laws here are strict and because they keep canceling flights but I’m definitely going back eventually. In the meantime, I’ll still be active in DW helping out leadership if they need it or just vibing in chat, talking to people. I care about the success of the army as much as the next person, so I’ll always be here to help when I can. I don’t think I’ll return back to leadership, but then again, who knows what the future holds.
Is there anything else you’d like to say?
Know when to take breaks and take care of yourself so that you can hop back in the game and give it your all. Keep on striving for greatness DW!

As you can see Megann has most certainly created a huge impact in the community and life long bonds in the Dark Warriors. She had definitely created a family in DW with her fun VC storytimes and while she is retired, she doesn’t plan on leaving the community overall. Even though certain factors had caused her retirement, many don’t think this will be the last we hear from Megann as a leader. We here, at the CP Army Hub, wish all of the best for Megann in her future endeavors.
What do YOU think? Will Megann return to leadership shortly, or will this be the end of her CPA career? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
