What would you change in CPAH?

Dear Reader,

The Army Hub has been operating incredibly for well over a month now. In terms of the media aspect, the very first thing I wanted to implement was an array of interesting weekly columns. However, as time has progressed, it has become clear which of these columns have been more successful and enjoyed by viewers, than others. This is why we’re discontinuing some and bringing in new exciting ones! We are saying goodbye to Vice President Cassie’s Weekly Quiz, and she will instead be interviewing the staff in Spill The Tea! Associate Producer Austin will be swapping the outdated Army of the Week for a fun and nostalgic Do You Remember… series.

There is plenty coming your way, and we here at the Army Hub are actively looking for ways to improve every day.

Do you have any early predictions for the End of Summer Awards?

Dear Reader,

The End of Summer Awards is just weeks away! Voting opens on August 22nd, and will last seven days before the highly coveted awards are handed out.

As for early predictions, I think some categories will be too close to call – it really is going to be anyone’s game! For Biggest Retirement there are some strong contenders: perhaps Kingfunks4 from the Water Vikings? Or will it be Ayan and Emcee from the CP Army Media? As for best graphics designer – could the recipient be the amazingly creative Zamb? Or maybe the very talented Zamb?! Only time will tell!

How stressful is it making the Top Tens?

Dear Reader,

I am SO glad someone is asking the important questions and bringing to light the traumatic ordeal that is: Top Ten day! The drama starts late Saturday, when the Top Ten committee begin the writing of the bios and collection of the best event pictures from that week. This is headed by Top Ten Manager Cassie, who does a fantastic job organising the armies each committee member will work on.

And then there is the calculations team, who check and recount every single event from every single army in the community. This is a long and tiring process that can afford no mistakes. The numbers are totalled up in a spreadsheet and the rankings for that week are therefore finalised. Fast forward several hours as the calculations team enjoy some well deserved beauty sleep, the two Top Ten posts are to be formatted by any available administrator.

Of course, due to an endless array of circumstances, there are some errors that need to be addressed after publication. We love nothing more than an angry direct message on a Sunday afternoon (usually from the same people)!!

Ooo, tea! I would say those caught multilogging are embarrassed that they have been discovered cheating, and don’t possess the courage to own up and admit their actions. It is a huge shame, but as long as they learn from their mistake and opt for a more moral approach in the future.
