Ice Warriors Wave Goodbye To Leader Madhav2 After Retirement Announcement

SUB ZERO, Ice Warriors Empire- Just weeks after we saw Ice Warriors leader Agent 11 retire, another leader retired from the army as well as the community. Madhav2, who has been in the army community for a long time, has announced his immediate retirement. Madhav has been one of the most influential leaders in the Ice Warriors since he joined the army in 2014.

Madhav 2 entered the army community in 2012 when he decided to join the Dark Warriors. He stuck around in this army and ranked up to Fourth In Command. However, he decided to leave the army and joined the Doritos instead. He eventually became a Leader In Training, before leaving, this time for Special Weapons And Tactics. Madhav stuck around there for a little while longer, ranking up again to Leader In Training. He was also seen in the Rebel Penguin Federation for a short duration. Before his reign in the Ice Warriors, he led several Small/Medium armies. Unfortunately, these tenures suffered from a short life.

Madhav2 started his stint in the Ice Warriors in 2014 and made his way up the ranks. During this time, we saw many great things from the Ice Warriors. This includes numerous Top Ten finishes, tournament wins, and successful wars. He left the army a few years later for a short while to get his personal life in order. Following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, he rejoined the blue army on March 14th, 2020 as a Second In Command. Right after his return, the Ice Warriors embarked on one of their biggest wars ever, against the Doritos. On April 27th, 2020, Madhav2 rose to become the leader of the Ice Warriors.

As the leader, Madhav2 has brought great success to the army. One of the highest points of his career was when the Ice Warriors saw a jaw-dropping 165 penguins online for the semi-finals of the March Madness tournament. Later on, despite facing the freeze in sizes that came from the shutdown of Club Penguin Online, he worked hard to help his army retain their strength. His achievements for the Ice Warriors include a win against the Army of Club Penguin in the prestigious Legends Cup tournament. Ice Warriors went down in a tough fight against the Rebels, but their outstanding performance left the community in awe. Despite a brief excursion to the Pirates before the Legends Cup tournament began, he has supported his army in the best way he could. His most recent accomplishment was successfully fending off the New Dawn Alliance formed by the Doritos.

However, all good things must come to an end. Madhav announced his retirement on August 15, through a passionate post on the Ice Warriors website. The message went on to include his army achievements and also his most cherished memories. The full version of the post can be found here.

The beginning of Madhav’s Retirement Post on the Ice Warriors Website

The CP Army Hub team was able to catch up with Madhav 2, for his thoughts about departing from the Ice Warriors and the army community.

Note: The interview has been edited for grammar purposes.

What made you want to retire from the community as a whole?

It’s because Ice Warriors is ready for me to retire. The community and system we built here over the past couple of months after losing CPO as an option has been great. I think we have done a great job of training our staff and we have very capable people ready to fill in big shoes. In addition, there is a lot of unnecessary drama and stress that comes with being the leader of a major army. Even though I’ve never backed down from a fight, I feel that it’s time to let others to shine in that aspect. (Which they have)

If you had to pick one memory throughout your time in the community as your all favorite, what would that memory be and why?

Hmm, I think it would have to be talking to my friends here. The army aspect is what brought us together but the relationships you begin to build with people and the laughs you have are the things I will cherish most. I’ll eventually forget about the petty wars and battles but one thing I’ll never forget is making memories with the people I trust the most every single night and truly bonding with them, sharing personal experiences and seeking advice when need be. I’m honestly most ecstatic about the fact that my time with the Ice Warriors has given me such great friends both in and outside of it and those are the people I’ll never forget even when it’s all said and done.

Do you plan on returning to the community in the future?

No, I do not but yet again, I’m unaware of what the world holds in store for us. Maybe another global pandemic happens in which we are required to quarantine for months on end. Hopefully not, but it’s the reason I even came back initially.

Madhav is confident that the Ice Warriors will continue to stay strong without him. His belief is snow joke, as the Ice Warriors continue to dominate the server map. The Army Hub wishes Madhav a happy retirement, and are eager to witness the Ice Warriors’ next chapter without him. Will they continue their successful streak? Or could they drop in his absence? Only time will answer these questions.

What do YOU think? What kind of impact has Madhav made on this community in your opinion? How will Ice Warriors recover from losing yet another beloved leader? Let us know in the comments section below!
