Doritos: Possum Promoted to Leader

UNKNOWN TERRITORY, Doritos Empire – The Doritos of Club Penguin have witnessed many leader changes since their creation, and they witness yet another, as they welcome Possum to her new position of First in Command. 

The Doritos of Club Penguin are one of the most well known armies, being one of the biggest, and being one of the first armies to Super Club Penguin as their main CPPS. On February 8th, 2010, the Doritos of CP were created by Wwebestfan. Since their creation, the army has witnessed many leadership changes, but has grown to be one of the strongest armies, and being involved in many conflicts.

 

Possum has been apart of the Doritos for sometime now, being recruited back in 2015 by Mustapha10, soon achieving legend a year later. She remained in the army until their closure in 2017. When they were revived in late 2019, she was asked to re-join as an advisor, but declined due to real life responsibilities. When asked by 32op and Meerkat to rejoin during the pandemic, she obliged, rejoining as a fourth-in-command, soon working her way up to first-in-command.

CP Army Hub staff were able to get an exclusive interview with Possum herself about her recent promotion.

You have very limited time left with the Doritos as they announced their closure. What do you plan to do during this time?

I want to really make this last week the best it can possibly be for everyone. This army is full of such amazing people they deserve the best. They’re going to have an amazing last week if I have to drag them along kicking and screaming for the ride

That’s great to hear that you already have some idea of how you want the last week to be. How do you feel about your recent promotion?

I’m really happy they’ve given me the chance, even if its only short lived. I’ve been around for so long, seen so many leaders rise and fall, and I’m super proud to be part of that journey as well

That’s great to hear! What do you want to accomplish here in this short time with this beloved army?

I want to leave DCP better than I found it. To instill within our army and our community all the happy memories that come from this crazy journey. To help everyone realize that they’re part of this story too, and that I need their help to write it. I also want to recruit my ass off for our final event. DCP finna be maxing 900 just you wait.

That’s amazing that you want to make everyone feel “apart of the story”. Lastly, what’s your favorite memory of the army?

Oh God. There’s so many LOL! It’s hard to say because a lot of the happy moments are also tapped with sadness. Like achieving legend on the verge of my former mentors retirement, or leader towards the armies end. I’d have to say the March Madness semi-finals to be honest(the first one). That was such a crazy event. Arguably one of the biggest in cp army history for sure. It was insanely close, and I was left on the edge of my seat through the entire thing.

That’s great to hear you have so many memories.  Is there anything else you’d like to add?

To all the other armies reading this. To those who may think they “got us”, or that DCP is defeated. You guys haven’t seen nothing yet. Other armies see an army on the verge of war when you see us. You do not see the late night group chats, the laughter, the crying. The people. You see our shields not our hearts. Yet you will see our hearts on display as we march on Summit one last time. These troops are amazing and so so hard working, and every one of them deserves your love and respect. Fear the shield.

 

With the Doritos holding their final event on Sunday, September 27th, it gives Possum one week to take the army to bigger and better places. How will she fare? Only time will tell.
