Former Water Vikings Leader Zoomey Moves To Ice Warriors Staff

FROSTBITE, Water Vikings Empire – Earlier this week former Water Vikings leader and current Advisor, Zoomey, decided to join the Ice Warriors staff team.

Zoomey joined armies in 2015, starting in the Army of Club Penguin as a Private. He was quick to rise up the ranks and managed to make it to third-in-command, before leaving for the leader-in-training position at the Water Vikings. Years later, Zoomey left the Army of CP staff team once again for the Water Vikings, and on June 6th, 2020, was promoted to the leadership. The Vikings flourished under his leadership, reaching peaks of 40+ penguins at events. He was even awarded the title of  “greatest ever WV leaders”. However, fate had something else in store for him as he retired on September 4th, roughly three months after his promotion to leader.

For the past month he has been serving as a Water Vikings Advisor – a position that has higher-command level permissions on the Discord server. However, this title was removed as he joined the Ice Warriors for fourth-in-command. This decision came about as he “has quite a few friends there”.

The Army Hub staff were able to sit down with Zoomey and find out about his new position.

Why did you choose to be a part of Ice Warriors?

During my time in Water Vikings, things became a bit complicated behind the scenes. I’d rather not specify anything for the sake of confidentiality but I will say apart of it was burn out. So after deciding to leave due to burn out and the complications I took a break. Once I was rather to rejoin I thought about which army to join. I considered rejoining Water Vikings, joining Crimson Guardians and Ice Warriors. Eventually I decided to go to Ice Warriors because I have quite a few friends there and thought it might be fun!

Did you always plan on joining Ice Warriors?

Well, I considered it at the back of my mind time to time but I wasn’t going to go through with it. I didn’t know if I was going to rejoin armies never mind join Ice Warriors which I have no history with at all.

What do you hope to achieve in the Ice Warriors?

At the moment I just want to relax and have fun and see where this new journey takes me.

Do you have any plans of rejoining Water Vikings in the future?

Although Water Vikings will always have a special place in my heart, I have no intentions of rejoining but never say never I guess.

The Water Vikings High Council reached out to CP Army Hub to give a statement regarding Zoomey’s decision to leave.

We were disappointed when Zoomey decided to retire, from what he said was burn out, as he offered a lot to the army and was even inducted recently to the list of ‘greatest ever WV leaders’. This highlights how well he was treated in the army and we did encourage him to stay before he retired around a month ago. The WV High Council of Vikings and leadership strenuously deny that there was a ‘complicated relationship’ and we attempted to address any concerns he had on multiple occasions, but he retired in the end due to a lack of activity meaning he couldnt contribute enough to the role of WV Leader. We wish him the best of luck in the future.

It seems clear that Zoomey decided to join the Ice Warriors to have some fun and relax after a stressful year leading a major army. How will he get on?
