The Next Leader: Vivala of the Water Vikings

ALASKA, CP Army Hub Headquarters – Welcome to the latest edition of The Next Leader, written by Reporter Kally. In this weekly column, the CP Army Hub staff acquaints themselves with the Leaders-in-Training of our army community. After all, they are the future leaders of the army community. This week, we talk to Vivala from the Water Vikings. What are her thoughts on leadership? What should we expect from her? Exactly who is this future leader?

In the third edition of The Next Leader, we take a closer look at Vivala from the Water Vikings! Vivala’s army career started in 2019, when she was recruited into the Pirates and Light Troops off of Club Penguin Online. She was not very active in the army community until she joined Redemption Force in October 2019.

Whilst in the Redemption Force, she then worked her way up the ranks to Second in Command. Due to internal issues, she decided to leave the army to join the Doritos instead on December 1st. Just a month later, on January 11th 2020, Vivala was promoted to leader. She held this rank until her retirement from the army’s leadership in early September.

Under Vivala’s leadership, the Doritos reached great heights, winning wars against multiple armies and maxing an astonishing 150+ during the March Madness Semi-Finals. For her contribution, the Doritos awarded her with the Honorary Shield, comparable to the Army Legend title.

Her retirement was short-lived and Vivala soon thereafter joined the Water Vikings. She quickly proved her loyalty to the army and was promoted to Second in Command by Pjayo on September 24th. Pjayo announced that as a Second in Command, she would also have more responsibility and eventually become the next leader of the Water Vikings.

Vivala has worked hard for her high rank in the army and she also contributes to the community both as a reporter and a judge. She truly has a plethora of experience in both leading and the army community as a whole.

CP Army Hub staff reached out to Vivala for an interview. What are her thoughts on armies and leadership?

What would be the first thing you’d do if you became a leader overnight?

Celebrate a bit, then add a Ricardo emote to the server. After that I’d just do normal leader stuff because I can’t think of anything else I’d really change in Water Vikings.

So we all know that you have already been a leader before, but what do you still have on your army bucket list? Becoming an army legend perhaps?

I mean that would be awesome. I think a goal of mine is to become a leader, and from there I’m not sure. Becoming one of the high council members would be amazing but that’s a future goal for later, gotta work to get leader first.

I’m sure you’ll get there! On another note, who has influenced you the most during your army career? Do you have anyone you look up to?

I really learned how armies run and how to be a good high command or leader from a lot of DCP people when I was there. Watching what 32op was doing for the army, I learned more about the different responsibilities and what’s needed.

What do you think is the toughest part about leading an army?

I think the toughest parts may be war, as it can be really draining on troops. Something that has personally always been difficult, is when there’s drama and fights, either in your army or between people in 2 different armies. I think it’s because I genuinely want people to be happy but sometimes when a situation happens, it’s just impossible to please everyone.

Last one! If you could only use one emote tactic, which one would it be?

:EY: I honestly just like the wary face, so having it as an emote in cp, I like it.

With her experience, Vivala is certainly a great candidate for the next Water Viking Commander. There is also a possibility to work her way up to the Water Viking High Council and maybe one day even CP Army Legend. When will Vivala return to the leadership ranks?

What do YOU think? Do you agree with Vivala’s view on leadership? Let us know in the comment section below!
