FROSTBITE, Water Vikings Empire – The latest community-wide conflict, dubbed the ‘Black Seas War’, faces a sudden twist in plot as the Ice Warriors join the count of armies invading the Water Vikings. What led to this decision on part of the Ice Warriors?
The Black Seas War began on November 5th, when the Dark Warriors declared war against the Water Vikings through a website post. Soon afterwards, the Rebel Penguin Federation announced their plans to war against the Norse army as well in a post titled “Burn the Boats“. Thus, everyone expected the Ice Warriors to join the war as well, alongside their brother allies. However, while the Ice Warriors condemned the Vikings for their actions in their post titled “Don’t Step on Black Ice”, they refrained from declaring war on the Water Vikings. This post also implied the end of the former alliance between the Ice Warriors and the Vikings.

However, in an unanticipated move, Ice Warriors leader Erick09 scheduled an invasion against the Water Vikings on November 7th, at 8:30 am EST. The message was later revamped by another leader, Regan. This declaration comes just half an hour before the Water Vikings were set to defend their server Cream Soda from the Rebels. So far, there has been no official declaration of war on part of the Ice Warriors. This development leaves the Vikings set to defend against two invasions from two of the biggest armies of the league on the same day.

The reason behind the move still remains unclear. Did the Ice Warriors release their invasion plan just as a move to expand their presence on the map? Or is this the beginning of their own personal war against the Vikings? To find out more about the invasion, the Army Hub team contacted Erick09, one of the Ice Warriors’ leaders. Here’s what he had to say:
Well, as we said in out post before, we have a lot of reasons to hate WV. No, we didn’t declare war, and it is not only the [one] server [we are invading], it is more like supporting our brother allies. The comment I said was just to annoy Funks lmao.
It would be interesting to know how the Water Vikings have reacted to this scheduled invasion of their empire. We have contacted the Water Vikings leadership for comment, and will update upon their response. Here’s what current Water Viking Legend Kingfunks4 had to say:
The Water Vikings do not wish to provide a direct response outlining our response to the Ice Warriors’ invasion. We will be defending all current invasions that are scheduled against the army, and hope to see more wins such as the one against Dark Warriors yesterday.

This fresh turn of events certainly change the face of this war. The Water Vikings now face three of the best armies of the league, with no support of their own. They successfully defended their server Jackhammer from the Dark Warriors on the first day of the war. Will the continued onslaught of the three armies completely overwhelm the Vikings? Can they keep up this performance now that their opponent is even stronger than before? Only the coming days will reveal what will happen next in this thrilling war.
