It seems the community views you more on the reporting side than the league side – do you assist with decisions regarding the league, alongside any conflicts that may arise?

Dear Reader,

I would definitely agree that I am viewed as a media administrator over one heavily involved in the league aspects. While there is an element of truth to this, it is not completely true. I do head the reporting operation, which is very time consuming in itself, but I am also consistently supporting the Chief Executive Officer’s with their decisions regarding the league. This may include myself playing devil’s advocate to ensure a well rounded decision is reached on important issues. I also believe, as the only administration ranked in an army, that my league role should be somewhat limited to ensure the community feels comfortable with my position.

What does a ‘multilogging check’ involve, and how often does it take place?

Dear Reader, 

The administration carry out ‘multilogging checks’ almost every day. This involves checking the usernames at army events with the help of the ‘Aunt Arctic’ multilogging bot, that is connected to the CP Armies database and shows the list of accounts that have an identical login IP. The date and times of login are also available for viewing, and can tell us exactly who has been misbehaving. Any suspicions of multilogging are then passed over to Developer Superhero123, who conducts a thorough analysis directly from the database and reports back to us.

What does CP Army Hub have planned for December?

Dear Reader, 

Ahhhhhhhh, it’s CHRISTMAS! Or nearly, anyway. The month of December will be the final month that the community will be operating on flash platforms, and we have SO many exciting things planned. Of course, the Christmas Chaos tournament will be taking place, but the Army Hub website will be organising an array of exciting events and written content for you to enjoy. I’m particularly excited for the ‘Top Ten Posts of 2020‘ and ‘Top Ten Armies of 2020‘ articles that are on their way. In addition to these, a special ‘CP Army Rewind: 2020‘ has recently got underway, and will be hitting the front pages late December. We also have the ‘End of Year Awards‘, ‘Person of the Year‘ listings and of course the 2020 Legend Inductions.

How do you deal with hate posts and accusations of bias?

Dear Reader, 

This is an interesting question. I believe that the administrators should not be exempt from criticism. However, there are of course appropriate forms of communicating this criticism, and we would prefer this not be in the form of ‘hate posts’. A polite and respectful conversation in direct messages is far more effective.

As for accusations of bias, I can confidently say that none of the administrators are bias against any individual or army. We all understand the privilege of our position and place significance on upholding our strong moral standards in decision making. But I think it’s also really important to remember that we, like everyone else in this community, are not perfect. We will make mistakes, and just like others we will endeavour to improve from these. Every administrator and staff member of the Army Hub has the desire to make this community a safe, fair and enjoyable place for its members.
