ALASKA, CP Army Hub Headquarters – The first round of the Christmas Chaos X tournament is upon us, and we’ve rounded up the staff predictions for your pleasure!

Today marks the start of the highly anticipated Christmas Chaos tournament, with a whopping 16 armies set to take part in the first round (click here for the times). Day One, however, will see just eight armies go head-to-head in four intense battles. Who will emerge the victors? And who are the CP Army Hub editors placing bets on?

Rebel Penguin Federation vs. Fighter Pilots

The small-medium Fighter Pilots are set to challenge the top-dog Rebel Penguin Federation, who have taken home the last two major tournament trophies. With the staff predictions overwhelmingly in favour of the Rebels, will the battle be as straightforward as it appears to be?

The Island Invader v. Silver Empire battle is set to be one of the closest round one battles, although staff predictions believe the Silver Empire will triumph. The Invaders fell to sixth position in the latest small-medium Top Ten rankings, while the Empire climbed to 9th in the major listings. Does this mean it will be plain sailing for the Empire, or will the Invaders succeed?
