Legend Inductions 2020 – The Results

ALASKA, CP Army Hub Headquarters – After a month of deliberation, debating and discussions, both the community and committee have had their say on who they would like to be the next set of newly inducted legends.

I would like to begin by thanking everyone who voted in this years legend inductions. It is great to see the continued interest that this title holds, and the amount of people that voted was fantastic in such a short space of time. I would like to stress that your vote was incredibly important, not only for the bonuses which are mentioned later on, but also in the decision making process. Your results were tallied and converted into percentages, and then presented to the committee in full, and used as the basis for debates about each candidate. These votes were incredibly useful and I would like to again thank everyone that voted.

This then left the committee to vote on who they wanted to be a legend. This comprised of 15 individuals who were present through the vast majority of 2020, 12 of whom have already been granted the title of ‘CP Army Legend’. The other members of the committee were representatives of CP Army Hub, or in the case of Orange were included to improve the quality of SM Legend nominations. Iceyfeet, Mchappy, myself and LuciferStar were chosen to be ‘committee heads’. This meant that, apart from Lucifer as he was included in the vote, more than one person could see the vote of each candidate and verify the count. Each member of the committee had one vote on each nominee, and this vote took place in their own voting channel on discord to provide an anonymous voting space, which was only open to the person voting and the three committee heads. As there are 15 members of the committee, to be inducted as a ‘CP Army Legend’ nominees would need 8 votes from the committee (unless some people abstained from voting on some individuals, for example Eden and Lucifer could not vote for themselves). However, we do of course include the community vote in the final decision. Candidates received one additional vote if they received 50% or more in the community vote, and one additional vote if they were within the top three (meaning they could earn up to two additional votes and therefore need less committee votes).

At the heart of these decisions is a will to upheld the integrity of the title of legend, and only induct those that have truly made a large impact both on their own army and the wider community. We also wanted to showcase the incredible year that we have had, by nominating some of the key leaders of this unprecedented year. Without further adieu, below are the results of the legends induction process for 2020.

Congratulations to Ayan, Crazzy, CSY and Regan for receiving the title of CP Army Legend! Ayan’s legend status has long been overdue for creating the Help Force and founding CP Army Media, Crazzy is voted in her for unprecedented leadership of RPF, CSY received a majority for his strong leadership of the Army of CP and Regan is the final inductee for leading IW to world power status this year. I would also like to initially thank those that helped to write and adjust the biographies and undertake research, particularly Lucifer, Orange, Cobra, Cassie, Pookie and 32op, as well as the whole committee who spent hours debating and discussing the nominees. It has been great to see some of the discussions that have taken place between the whole community on the direction of the legends page, and hopefully this year we have inducted four people that have truly earnt the title for their incredibly leadership. I also hope that this process has appeared transparent, clear and fair for all of the nominees.

That concludes the legends process for 2020, with four incredibly deserving leaders inducted for this year. It has been a sensational year for CP Armies, and there is no doubt that these individuals have been at the heart of that success.
