ALASKA, CP Army Hub Headquarters – As the dreadful 2020 is pushed into the past, we look forward to 2021, hopeful of something better. This new year has already brought several changes to the Club Penguin army community. As flash is no longer supported, the most popular army CPPS, CPArmies, has been forced to close its’ doors. For a lot of armies though, this is just a bump in the road as they set out to reach new goals in 2021. What are some of the new year’s resolutions army leaders have?
CP Army Hub Staff reached out to several army leaders, asking the same question:
With the new year, a lot of people make new year’s resolutions. What’s your new year’s resolution for your army?
Speaking to Rebel Penguin Federation leader, Crazzy, she explained:
As for RPF, our new year’s resolution would be that we want to get #1 throughout January since last year we fell from the top for those first few weeks. Other than that we will continue to do what we do best, which is host a lot of events and demonstrate our powerful force in the community.
Another top army, the Ice Warriors, was contacted with leader Orange responding:
This past year we had a really successful year with IW but for this next year, I would like to build off of that and have an even more successful year.
The Doritos of Club Penguin seems keen on being on the top as well, with 32op saying:
Our new years resolution is to have a successful transition to a different CPPS, be a top 3 army throughout the year and get closer as a family!
For Water Vikings, the post flash era and the transitional period were also a focus with army leader Fedd replying:
Our New Years Resolution is essentially to continue improving, developing and growing our army to the best of our ability, as well as to continue refining what we do behind the scenes and bring WV into the post-flash era smoothly in order to further benefit the experience of our members and the army as a whole.
Also mentioning the CPPS change was Special Weapons and Tactics leader Coolguy, who said:
A resolution can be something you want to change immediately or it can be a goal, something to accomplish/improve something by the end of the year. I guess ours would be a goal too. We need to work a lot more on the army, work on our sizes, keep rising, make sure its solid internally as any army should be. Keep fighting for number 1. Become closer as an army, never let 1 troop feel left out. Priorities are also important for armies so we need to be able to identify them with the cpps change and achieve them. So it’s less of a resolution per say and more of a goal or a map to (further) success.
CSY, leader of the Army of Club Penguin let us know his plans as well:
I haven’t thought that much into a new years resolution, but in terms of goals, guess it would be to just keep doing what we are doing for the community and see where that takes us
Help Force leader Barnito spoke of a new, record-breaking generation:
For HF, the new year begins with a new Generation. Ofc we’d keep the army community growing and flourishing despite the circumstances inflicted by real life and the uncertainty of the game. Break more records. It’s exciting to see how the members would react to the many changes that are being implemented.

Most leaders are focusing on the post-Flash transitional period, and aim to ensure a smooth switch from Flash to HTML5 CPPS’. Many also mention the weekly Top Ten, kicking off 2021 with high hopes for better scores than in the past year. Do you have any new year’s resolutions?
What do YOU think? What did you think of the army leaders’ resolutions? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
