Army Of The Week: Lime Green Army

ALASKA, CP Army Hub Headquarters – In the fourth edition of Army Of The Week, we once again focus on a small/medium army that has made an eminent hop in the Top Ten. The army who has earned the spotlight is none other than the Lime Green Army for their massive jump from the S/M Top Ten to the Top Ten.

The Lime Green Army was created in April of 2013 by Greeny, who at that point lead the army higher than ever and won every war they entered, yet however, the army was passing on, gradually, biting the dust, until they at long last kicked the bucket late 2013. The Lime Green Army was then revived a couple of months after the army passed on, seeking after something important to occur until it, at last, as the army then maxed 17+ against the once enormous Pink Ice Army.

It wouldn’t be until the new era of Club Penguin Armies was made in April 2019 that LGA would come back to the community. Being brought back by veteran Memmaw and creator Greeny, who likewise happened to be the originators of the new era of CPA, the army was given to altogether new initiative. It started with two new faces Paulina and Emilianiio who regardless of their earnest attempts didn’t do much for the army.

The LGA battled various wars over its revival within the new CPA community with armies such as the RFCP and Pretzels, among others. The army shut down 29th December 2019, referring to “a struggle in terms of activeness.” The news came after another destruction in a continuous war with the Pretzels.

Lime Green Army’s Revival Event

The army was later revived on April 2nd, 2020, with their first event of the recently transformed LGA being a reunion event with a max of 18 lime green penguins. In the next month, the LGA gradually recaptured its old individuals and in the long run hit 727 discord members by late April, in any event, gaining the spot of the sixth-highest army on the Club Penguin Army Media on April 25th, 2020, and an alliance with the Rebel Penguin Federation.

Following their sharp increase in their maxes and various events conducted, it lifted them from 2nd in the S/M Top Ten rankings list, to ranking 8th in the recent edition of the Top Ten rankings.

The CP Army Hub team was able to speak exclusively with the current leader and creator of the Lime Green Army, Greeny, with their thoughts on their recent performance.

Congratulations on the tremendous jump from s/m top ten to 8th in the top ten, since this was a huge achievement, did you expect LGA to make a huge leap from the s/m top ten all of a sudden?

Thanks, I was hoping we’d make it to the top ten as we had quite an eventful week last week.

Would you say hosting 11 events last week gave you an edge in the top ten?

Definitely, especially including events from all divisions

So that means you heavily depend on event quality to give you an advantage over all the other armies despite your maxes?

Well, I hope to get our size up to where we’re maxing as much as the major armies in the league, but we make do with what’s available. We’ve never been the biggest in numbers, but we’ve always managed to place well in the rankings when we’re consistent. I feel our culture, when LGA is at it’s full capacity, is what separates us from some of the other armies.

Fair enough, After LGA’s commencement to the 2nd round of the Beach Brawl, mind giving us an insight on your preparation to take the trophy home?

Just gonna keep recruiting & hyping and have fun while we compete with some other great S/M armies.

At the end interview, it’s undeniable to all what the Lime Green Army has coming up for the community. Greeny is content with the ongoing performance shown by LGA and Greeny states that LGA has been consistent throughout all through its time in the CPA community and specifies that he is particularly happy with the culture carried out by LGA.
