Fright or Fight: Round Two Results

ALASKA, CP Army Hub Headquarters – This weekend, the second round of CP Army Hub’s Fright or Fight tournament took place. Four small-medium armies and four major armies battled it out during the tournament’s semi-finals. Who will move on to the finals?

The first day of the semi-finals pitted the Most Wanted against the Red Ravagers for the S/M bracket and Rebel Penguin Federation against Help Force for the Major bracket. The next day featured Pizza Federation versus Silver Empire for S/M and the Army of Club Penguin against the Ice Warriors for Major. Who will advance to the finals?

Most Wanted vs. Red Ravagers

This battle for a spot in the S/M bracket finals was hard-fought. Most Wanted battled valiantly against the Ravagers, but they were unable to take home the victory. The Red Ravagers fought with unmatchable sizes as well as consistent speed and formations. Most Wanted found themselves unable to keep up with this, despite being a formidable opponent. As a result, the judges ruled the battle as a 3-0 win for the Red Ravagers.

Winner: Red Ravagers

Rebel Penguin Federation vs. Help Force

This major bracket battle was a sight to behold! To conclude the first day of the semi-finals, the Rebels battled the Helpers in a standoff where both sides reached incredible sizes in the 80s and 100s. The armies had similar speed throughout the battle, as well as similarly clean tactics. However, the Rebel Penguin Federation managed to fit more tactics and formations with bigger sizes. Though the armies were close for part of the battle, RPF came out victorious in a 2-1-0 match.

Winner: Rebel Penguin Federation

Pizza Federation vs. Silver Empire

Kicking off the next day of semi-finals, Pizza Federation and Silver Empire went head-to-head for the second S/M spot in the finals. This closely fought battle resulted in one of the tournament’s few overtime rooms! Both armies unleashed unexpected sizes, even hitting above 20 penguins. Despite both armies having similarly skillful tactics and formations, the Pizza Federation pulled out the win. The final ruling gave the first room to Silver Empire as a result of their speed, then the second room to the Federation. The third room was a tie, leading to the overtime room where Pizza Federation finished the battle with a win.

Army of Club Penguin vs. Ice Warriors

The final battle in this round of Fright or Fight pitted two age-old armies against each other: the Army of Club Penguin and the Ice Warriors. This tight battle was judged specially by the CP Army Hub admins. Both armies reached immense sizes, leading to lockout rooms being needed for each portion of the battle. In addition, both armies performed extraordinarily. Only one army could win, though, and in this case, it was the Army of Club Penguin. The Clover Defenders held their own in each of the three rooms, but Ice Warriors matched them in the first room, leading to a tie in the first room. At the end of the battle, the admins declared the last two rooms ACP victories.

At the end of the weekend, four armies advanced to the finals of CP Army Hub’s Fright or Fight tournament. With the Rebel Penguin Federation pitted against their past allies, the Army of Club Penguin, the major bracket finals are sure to be an entertaining and exciting battle. The S/M bracket sees the Red Ravagers against the Pizza Federation — with a brand new army fighting against a classic, it will be interesting to see who wins. Stay tuned!
